As you saw in the Glogster, MukMuk is a Vancouver Island Marmot. He is the mascot's sidekick.
He likes eating, burrowing, eating, making new friends, eating, you get the point: he REALLY likes eating.When he is not cheering on Miga, Quatchi or Sumi, he is sunbathing on rocks/logs or meeting new people. This energetic little furball is the perfect sidekick for Vancouver 2010.

Meet Miga: a small sea bear(part killer whale, part bear). Miga was inspired by a First Nations legend(orca whales that transform into bears when they first hit land), but Miga is also part Kermode Bear ( a rare creamy white bear only found in BC).
