Britt Janyk,Olympic Alpine skier , 1980, an Olympic star was born. Britt was a child that never gave up. Her personality was always happy and upbeat. If you ever seen her as a child you would know any time you would see her with a big smile on her face.
When she was 11 years old, she signed up for a racing team. Britt never missed out on sports or practices.Britt was also was a gymnastics girl. If you were to describe her you would probably say,"A child who is tough like a bee but soft like a flower".
However, she's not the only Olympian in the family. Mike Janyk was the first to join the Olympics. Her Grandfather also got involved in the Olympics for the winter games,trying to making new sports in 1968-1976. He also tried to bring the Olympics back to the British. He almost went down in Olympic History.
Britt is now in her an official Olympian by participating in the Vancouver 2010 winter Olympics games. She is in the skiing challenge. In the past she won over 3 medals and trophies and also got one from the National championships. Everybody in her whole family including friends was proud of her and still is. This was a dream came true for the young athlete.
Britt's home town is in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. Britt's Residence lived in Colling wood, Ontario, Canada. Britt also always kept her family and friends close to her and always would help them when ever they needed it and they also had her back as well.
Although Britt is a shinning star, it was not easy to the road to success. She had to train when ever she got a chance. She work hard, got good grades in school and loved it in some sense. First, Britt had to practice, practice, practice to become a member of the Olympics. Second, Britt had to beat other people to go into the Olympics and join in a lot of races. Third, Britt had to still be close to her family because with all the practice she could not always be consecrated on her family and friends. But they where still very proud of Britt and they knew that it would be wroth it!!

Now Britt is living her dream of a provincial in speed skiing. I think that she will stick with this sport because for first, she has been in training for a long time. Second Britt as a child knew that she would do something great in the future (Fun job). Third, is that she believes in her self. When she loses she still has her head up high and when shes down she knows something horrible can turn into something great.
You can say so many things about her that are nice, and nothing is bad, that is why she will be remembered.
